I'd like to welcome you to my website and introduce you to my professional services. I've been a licensed clinical social worker for over 45 years, having been catapulted into the field following an unexpected opportunity to organize a crisis shelter for runaway youth in 1969.
Over the years, I have developed a private psychotherapy practice working with individuals, couples, families and groups, ages preteen to seniors. I spent close to 20 years as a Faculty/Field Advisor for Smith College School for Social Work, overseeing graduate student internships in the Los Angeles area. Also for Smith, I facilitated an online training group for supervisors around the country for 14 years. Currently, I am involved in a supervision training program through the Psychotherpy Institute in Berkeley.
Wearing a slightly different "hat", I spent many years working with a lawyer and a Rabbi as a divorce mediaton team. Although I no longer provide mediation, I am familiar with divorce issues and use this expertise as a therapist, coach and co-parenting specialist.
